Primary logos
Primary logos are the complete expression of our brands. Use them when the logo has real room to breathe and is the focus of what someone's looking at: Website headers, presentation title slides, letterhead, signage, etc.
- If the full lockup would render smaller than 40px tall on-screen (or ~10mm in print), use the secondary logo instead of shrinking the primary logo. Good rule: If you can't read the tagline clearly, opt for the secondary logo.
Secondary logos
Secondary logos drop taglines, keeping just the mark and wordmark. Use these wherever logos play a smaller, supporting role rather than being the main event, and anywhere space is genuinely tight.

Trademark and naming
These marks are how we legally protect our intellectual property. Consistent, correct use over time looks professional and builds a documented history of use, which is part of what makes a trademark defensible in the first place.
Technology and product names carry a mark on nearly every mention, not just the first. Exceptions are headlines and inside direct quotes, where the mark would visually clutter the line.

Use the ® mark on nearly every mention (exceptions: Headlines and inside direct quotes). Spell out in full at first use, for example: "TBS® (Trabecular Bone Score®)."

Emphasis in headings is created by the contrast between Light base text and Bold emphasis words, not by progressively heavier weights across heading levels.
Emphasis in text is created by the contrast between Normal base text and Semi-bold emphasis words. You can also try italicizing text in some instances.
