Increased accountability and transparency
For a fair management of the company Medimaps is governed by an independent board of directors in charge of the company strategy, complementing the executive committee leading the operations and resources.
This two-tier management system enhances corporate governance by providing clear role separation, increased accountability, improved risk management, and strategic guidance. It promotes transparency, protects stakeholder interests, and ensures compliance with legal and ethical standards, ultimately contributing to a company’s long-term success and sustainability.
Certified by BSI to ISO 13485:2016
In 2023, Medimaps Group has received the Medical Device Regulation (MDR) certification from its notified body BSI (CE 2797) for its management system and product portfolio. Medimaps has implemented a comprehensive Quality Management System that aligns with global quality standards and regulations. ISO 13485:2016 specifies requirements for a quality management system where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to provide medical devices and related services that consistently meet customer and applicable regulatory requirements.
Compliance with ISO 13485 certifies Medimaps commitment towards excellence for our customers with regularly audited internal processes and procedures aiming at continuous improvement throughout our company operations and product lifecycle.
Fulfilling the Swiss-made software label
In 2023, Medimaps obtained the Swiss Made Software Label, a national certification for Swiss-based companies that demonstrate commitment to developing and producing the majority of their assets in Switzerland.
Confirming Medimaps’ longstanding adherence to Swiss values, this label is testament to the enduring quality, reliability, innovation and precision of the Swiss Information and Technology industry, which employs more than 25,000 professionals nationwide.

Contributing to a better world
As a responsible corporate citizen, reducing our carbon footprint and supporting our local community are important to us. We offset our carbon footprint every year through two schemes:
- The Oxygen at Work program contributes to planting 170 trees in Amazonia
- The French NGO Piment Solidaire program contributes to planting 400 trees in Togo
We also support our local community through responsible sourcing, efficient energy consumption, and waste management. In addition, we donate to local non-profit organizations through fundraising initiatives.
